Bonnes Vacances! - We had an amazing stay at Les Tourterelles in May 2008. We were in a spacious 2 bedroomed house which was generously equipped (with all modern appliances to cater for your every need), incredibly comfortable (divine cotton sheets on the beds !) and beautifully clean. An added bonus is the terrace area to the front, which gives you outdoor dining & living options. You can maintain privacy even whilst feeling part of the whole property.
Our two children (aged 6 & 4) had a magical holiday too. The freedom to run around the gardens at the back, the superb heated swimming pool (secure and safe within its own walls) and table tennis to boot were a brilliant combination on-site. They were never bored as there were also so many other activities to enjoy locally. A visit to Nigloland (just 10 minutes away) is an absolute must if you have children with you or you are still young at heart.
Champagne gives you far more than just the delicious bubbly drink, so it would be a shame to miss it and the amazing time you'll have at Les Tourterelles. Justine, Berkshire, England .
Full of Pleasures - At the beginning of July 2008, we discovered a village which for us was a big unknown. But such was our enthusiasm at the time of our arrival at Eclance and the warm reception by Sarah and James, happy owners of the lodgings Les Hirondelles. The lodgings are equipped irreproachably and decorated with a taste of cocooning such that one wants time to stop. After a day of pleasures and water sports and more precisely water skiing on Lake Amance, we had the pleasure of tasting very good champagne by the swimming pool. I still make a point of thanking Sarah and James for this stay so pleasant and full with emotion.

Fab, Fab, Fab Cant remember how I found this place (probably TripAdvisor!), but we decided to treat ourselves on our way from the UK to Italy (only 4 hours drive from Calais). Sarah and James are very welcoming hosts, and we enjoyed learning how they transformed a centuries-old barn into fantastic places to stay within the Champagne region of France. We are anxious to go again to see how the next gξte is coming along! Starsandstripes20, Wiltshire, England (extracted from tripadvisor) ..
Superb Stayed at La Ferme des Tourterelles gξte/B&B this summer. Family of 4 including two teenagers. Took a chance from the website and what a find!!. Run by Sarah and James an English couple (fluent in French,) the property is registered by Clιvances to their highest level and the facilities are extremely good with en-suite bathrooms, all mod cons, and a fantastic heated swimming pool.

Fantastic Spot - Beautiful gξte, managed by the sympathetic British couple Sarah and James. Nicely heated outside swimming pool with sunbeds and mattress. It lies in a sleepy village. In 5 minutes (actually 10 minutes) by car, there is a town with shops. Within 5 minutes the third largest amusement park of France. Furthermore in the proximity: champagne houses and - route, The Great Lakes and Troyes. Sarah and James have much information and help you with everything. Also easy to be able speak English! A fantastic spot to rest in these gites in the champagne region with a swimming pool. Jeanette, The Netherlands (extracted and translated from review on www.zoomer.nl)
Total relaxation: PROS: great hosts; interesting project; lovely village; proximity to medieval Troyes and modern Nigloland; lots od useable spaces; barbeque equipment available. Fantastic swimming pool. Great rolling cycling country. The website details were very accurate. CONS: a week was not enough. Flick-floss, Hampshire, UK (extracted from tripadvisor )
Simply Wonderful: We booked our first stay here with some trepidation after having less than good experiences booking self-catering accommodation in France in the past. However, as soon as we arrived our concerns vanished. The properties are located in a traditional farm setting that have been skilfully converted by the (English) owners into meticulously clean, very attractive and extremely comfortable gites that are furnished to a high standard, with excellent bathrooms, superb beds and well equipped kitchens . Perfect: Service was perfect, Saah & James were very helpful and had all the answers. The accommodation was amazing so clean n spacious. The outside seating was relaxing after a hectic day sightseeing. Nigloland is a definite, so good we went twice, champagne tasting was also very good!! We visited the beach which was a lovely sandy each with watersports nearby or just relax and enjoy the sunshine!! Gardens were very spacious. The kids loved running around, heated swimming pool and sunloungers were another way to relax and unwind! Safe to say we will be back. DDT3, Hampshire (extracted from tripadvisor )
